Hello! I'm afraid there's no plans to ever add Steam achievements. We know it's something a lot of players have asked for, so we plan to make them a thing in our games going forward, but we don't have the time/resources currently to add achievements to Trouble Comes Twice anytime soon.
In our case, unfortunately yes… It’d require a new graphic for each achievement, as well as revisiting code we haven’t touched in years, and then we’d have to recruit new people specifically to handle that. But maybe in the distant future, if we ever revisit TCT to revamp other parts of the game, we may consider adding achievements to the list.
This is a really fun game! The characters are fun and the art is beautiful. The meta chibis Statler and Waldorfing throughout the routes is a great gag to shake up the formula.
helloo so im about to purchase the game but im wondering since there isnt an macos option on steam , will the steam key work for a mac os? i havent used a key before so im not experienced
In order to play on a mac, you’d have to purchase and download the game here. You can add the game to your library on steam with a steam key, but you won’t be able to play unless you’ve got a pc.
No, not at all! :) The steam key is optional. People can claim it alongside their itchio purchase, but even if you claim it, you can still download the game here.

Due to technical reasons, we haven't been able to offer a MacOS version on Steam unfortunately. It's on our backburner to figure out how to solve this, but it's not something we're going to be able to tackle anytime soon as we're busy working on our next title. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Nooot sure which ending you unlocked, but there’s two for each route! Afterwards, you can access an epilogue in the extras section.
If you’ve already seen that, then yes I fear that’s the end for them in the main game. We released a DLC not too long ago, however, that contains a few extra short stories for all the different couples! 💕
Hi! We don’t really know how that works, we made the game for mac and pc and that’s all we are able to check and fix. If joiplay doesn’t allow you to click the save/load button, there’s nothing we can do about that I’m afraid.

No, not at all! The dramatic endings (on average) have more ’drama/emotional’ scenes, but all endings are ultimately happy and I know a lot of people felt that made some of the dramatic endings even more romantic :)
Hello! I just bought this game in the Queer Games Bundle 2024. While it was advertised as including a Steam key, when I attempt to redeem it I am getting the error: "There are no keys available at this time, try again later" I would appreciate if this could be resolved ASAP!

Jace/Adrian was so cuteeee!! It checks all the boxes for my favorite tropes (both are oblivious and the energetic/reserved duo and brat/acts-of-service-babygirl dynamic). I can't play any other routes now
Also, Jace and Hazel's sibling interactions and dynamic were so realistic and fun
(played through Steam but can't help but also leave a comment here)
pretty fun game!!!!!! usually i prefer to play as a girl, but i actually liked Jace's routes a lot more than Hazel's....he's just a more relatable and likeable character to me lol also Jace/Adrian is the fuckin endgame!!!!!!!!!!

Jace/Cameron is my favourite route. It's a huge comfort to me.
I can really empathize with Jace's hesitancy to be open in a safe environment due to being a people pleaser. I think most people (like me) can also relate to Cameron's frustrations about how reputation and appearances can have way too much impact on daily life.
I've played the romantic version of the Jace/Cameron route, alone over 5 times.

my game brings me to history instead of the save screen. What are the key binding to fix it.
Hi! Not sure what key/button you're pressing that you want to lead you to the save screen? Could you provide us some more information?
I think they mean the esc button leading to the history in this game and in most visual novels the esc key leads to the save screen.

Can it change another route when it is progressing?
Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean with this question? You can start a new route whenever you want and access the old ones again as long as you saved.
